J. Cole-"Lost Ones"
-For sure one of my favorite rappers. I really like the stories that J. Cole tells through his music, especially since so many rappers now fail to do this. Although his technique and language is harsh, the message that he is trying to get across his listeners is significant.

Jay-Z- "Lost One"
-One of my favorite songs from Jay. I remember when this song came out, I couldn't stop listening to it. I think its due to Jay's great storytelling through this song, and the style he does it in. Similar concept to J. Cole's, both great at painting pictures through their music.

Curren$y- "Feelin It 2008"
-Since I'm listening to songs influenced by Jay-Z, I started to think of others I knew. The first that came to mind was Curren$y's "Feelin It 2008". I remember back when my friend put this version on, and I couldn't stop listening to it. I knew I had heard the beat before, and sure enough its off an old Jay-Z song. Not the biggest Curren$y fan, but definitely like this one.

Jay-Z-"Feelin It"
-Again, a classic from Jay. Off one of the best rap albums ever "Reasonable Doubt". Personally I like this version better than Curren$y's.

Jay-Z-"December 4th"
-I had no intention to make this a Jay-Z post, but after the first song I put up I decided to just run with the theme. So, my last two songs will be two of my favorite from Jay.

Jay-Z-"Song Cry"
-A song that never gets old. One of my all time favorites. Lyrics, beat, concept...everything is perfect about this song.

Jay-Z it is! Once you find something you like, you might as well run with it. 20/20
